Before Perpetual Licensing Ends

Adobe recently announced (at CF Summit 2024 in Las Vegas) – that from the next major release (CF2025) they will no longer offer perpetual licenses.   Although we do not have a definite date for the next major release – Adobe have indicated that it will be early in the new year (2025).  As soon as CF2025 is released, it will no longer be possible to purchase a perpetual license.

Adobe Platinum Support ensures uninterrupted access to expert technical assistance, available 24/7, and offers priority responses to critical issues. It also includes regular updates, security patches, and guidance on best practices to optimize your ColdFusion implementation. 

Once Adobe move to a subscription licensing model (with the release of CF2025) it will no longer be possible to purchase Platinum Support.  However, if you have a valid maintenance contract at the time of release, Adobe will provide you with your first years annual subscription license for the same Edition (STD/ENT) you have under Platinum Support.

It is still possible to obtain the last version, CF2021, back. However, we would need to get permission from Adobe. Please contact the sales team directly before making your purchase.

Once the order has been made, we will email you to confirm the email address with which the order should be associated. Once the order is made with Adobe, it is usually processed within 2-3 business days.  

Once processed, we will send your license certificate to the purchasing and billing email addresses.

The license certificate will also be available in the LWS account associated with the order; you will use the email address associated with the order.
